Guitar Tracing Bezier Curve Exercise

The extremely low contrast of the image makes it easy to trace in the drawing software, since there are very few distracting lines or colors. I, however think it looks pretty bland, so I bumped up the contrast by about 72 points. The resulting image is a little grainy, but it's still pretty good considering what I started with. I started tracing it just to the left of the bridge, heading around counter-clockwise. During the class demo it was shown that the curve can be accurately traced using just eight anchor points. I felt that it could be done with fewer than eight. The tracing below uses only FIVE anchor points. The path I traced is colored red so you can see what I did.

Now all that's left is to fill the image in with a pattern...
